PDA has an executive committee that assists in formulating the agenda for meetings. This committee also encourages appointed volunteers from representative grade levels to attend event planning and strategic planning meetings.
Grade-level representatives assist with communication and encourage all parents to contribute the advancement of the School. Parent Volunteer Opportunities are available for sign up during August registration. Opportunities include volunteering for classrooms, events, fundraising, guest lectures, athletic boosters, and science fairs. Grade-level representatives also participate in semi-annual meetings with the department heads, and assist with strategic planning.
At the end of each semester, an all-parent meeting keeps the entire community up to date with a summary of activities. Committee meetings are held throughout the year as needed.
