With the completion of Griffin Hall in November of 2011, the Village Academy Pre-Kindergarten Program joined the entire school community on the main campus. This 8,800-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for students ages 2 ½ to 5 years, includes a media room, art room, library, and mimio interactive technology in the classrooms. The fenced-in playground at Griffin Hall is designed for large muscle development, balance, and strengthening hand-eye coordination.
Now on the main campus, Pre-Kindergarten students have access to the Village Academy main campus facilities such as the Arts Conservatory, tennis courts, technology equipment, and gymnasium. Additionally, Griffin Hall students are able to participate in activities and learning experiences across grade levels. These students work with their fellow Griffin classmates in Lower, Middle, and Upper School for class projects, performances, and more.
